PROFESSIONAL

The aim is to develop professional competences of teachers to be used in education of students in the field of sustainable timber construction. Development of competences will be based on sharing of expertise among participants from different countries and universities. New topics will be introduced and new teaching materials, including laboratory assignments specifically created to help assimilate theoretic concepts through hands-on experiments.

The objectives are:

1. to connect academia and business needs in education;

2. to develop professional competences of teachers in sustainable timber construction;

3. to upgrade existing courses’ curricula with new topics;

4. to develop teaching/learning materials;

5. to develop laboratory assignments;

6. to increase awareness about sustainable timber construction in local academic communities.
